Friday Favorite!

Hello!

If you’ve been reading my blogs, you may have realized that I am trying to set a certain tone by introducing segments. Here is the one that I am most excited about. Every Friday, I will either post a “Friday Favorite” or “Friday Fail” talking about a product I love or a product that really let me down. Today, I’m here to tell you about a beauty sponge that I tried for the first time this week. After using it five days and washing it five times, I can safely say I love it.

The Flower Beauty 3-in-1 Ultimate Blending Sponge is a product that I have put off trying. Flower beauty can only be found at Walmart or the Flower Beauty website and I prefer buying products at places where I can shop multiple brands at once, like Ulta or Sephora. I was already convinced that the Real Technique’s sponge was going to be better, but I had heard Kathleen Lights rave about it on YouTube, so I finally decided to try it. I am so very glad I did.

The Flower Beauty was founded by Drew Barrymore to empower women and make them feel good about themselves at an affordable price. While I haven’t tried a lot of product from the brands (yet!), the sponge is the best sponge I have ever tried. It retails at $10USD, which is more expensive than a Real Technique or EcoTools sponge, but it is also better quality. It makes me makeup look incredibly natural and smooth. This sponge is softer than the Real Technique sponge and much more durable than the EcoTools sponge. I truly believe that this sponge is going to last long. I also found it soaks up less product than both sponges, which makes it easier to clean. Overall, who wouldn’t want a long-lasting, softer, and cleaner beauty sponge? If you’re looking for a new tool, this is one to try.
