Today, I would like to talk with you about a product that I almost never hear mentioned in the beauty community…and it only costs four dollars. I am a big fan of E.L.F   Cosmetics. Recently, I found that they have stepped up their game in a huge way and I am more than willing to play.
The Beautifully Bare Lightweight Concealer Stick is not exactly light enough for me to to brighten under my eyes on it’s own, but it is wonderful for cancelling out the dark circles. I apply this product directly to my face before foundation and I blend the product in with my pointer finger. I look instantly more awake and refreshed. As someone who suffers from rosacea, I actually found this concealer to be the one product that cancels out the bold redness around my eyebrows. This blends out and conceals the redness that causes people to ask if I just got my eyebrows waxed – and I have never had my eyebrows waxed.
This is not to say that this is an easy product to work with. It does have several guidelines to use the product correctly. It works best before foundation. It does not brighten, but it conceals and color corrects. Other concealers can be used on top, but these concealers must be blended with a dampened beauty sponge. The E.L.F. concealer must originally be blended with a finger and never ever use a brush.
When this product is used correctly, it is phenomenal. For me, this became a holy grail product when it concealed the redness that I have been trying to hide for years. For four dollars, this product is amazing. For more money, I would still be buying this product. Take a chance on E.L.F, you won’t be disappointed.
